About EazyRental

Our mission

Moving to a new city or filling a vacancy should not mean fighting cluttered sites and opaque processes. EazyRental exists to make long-term Canadian rentals easier to find, compare, and act on — with tools for search, tours, applications, and landlord workflows in one coherent place.

What we are

EazyRental is an online marketplace where landlords can publish rental listings and tenants can discover homes, save favourites, request tours, send inquiries, and submit rental applications. We focus on the long-term rental journey — not short-stay travel — and on keeping discovery straightforward.

We are not your landlord, property manager, or broker. We provide software and a catalogue; leases, rent, and deposits are between tenants and landlords unless your operator clearly offers something different in writing.

Who we serve

Tenants

• Search by city, province, price, and property type — grid, list, or map.
• Save searches, favourite listings, and reuse an application profile where it helps.
• Message landlords through inquiries, request tours, and track bookings when landlords use those tools.

Landlords

• Create and manage listings, upload photos, and offer tour slots.
• See inquiries, applications, and booking requests in one workspace.
• Request admin review before new listings appear in the public catalogue (moderation).

Trust and moderation

New listings can be reviewed before they go live to everyone, so the public feed stays focused on approved, active homes. Tenants can report a listing if something looks wrong; operators can follow up from the admin tools. We are not a substitute for in-person diligence, credit checks, or legal leases — those remain between landlords and tenants (and their professionals).

Rental fraud affects every marketplace. We publish plain-language guidance in our FAQ and link to public agencies on Useful links so you can stay informed.

Where we operate

The product is designed around Canadian provinces and territories (city + province search, CAD rent, and copy oriented to Canadian renters). Your actual coverage depends on who lists and which deployment you use — we do not guarantee listings in every market.

Technology

EazyRental is built as a modern web app with a secure backend for accounts, listings, and marketplace activity. When you run your own deployment, you choose where data is hosted — which matters for privacy, backups, and compliance. Features such as email, maps, and scheduled jobs depend on how your environment is configured.

Policies

Our Privacy policy, Terms of service, Refund policy, FAQ, and Guides describe how we approach data, billing (when applicable), platform rules, and renter education. Legal pages remain drafts until your counsel signs off.
